Episode two tightens everything the premiere set up. The pacing is alright; most scenes get the time they need. The chase itself never generates real urgency, but that turns out not to matter: it works as a vehicle for character exploration, and the character work is the point.
The shot composition stays unshowy but deliberate, not imposing and not careless either. The background music is still rousing and exactly appropriate. White Vision drops an original Vision line, "there is grace in their failings," a small gift for longtime viewers.
“He can run a quintillion simulations and still not compute the one question being asked of him: who are you?”
